DovTelCon Web

[DovTelCon Web]Switch your devices and groups on/off from any webbrowser in the world with help of a Dovado UMR or 4GR router (firmware 4.1 or higher) via TellStick, Gembird Silver Shield or Wake-on-LAN.

You can use DovTelCon Web on your PC at work, on your mobile, in an internet cafe... everywhere.

Configuration of your Dovado UMR or 4GR for using DovTelCon Web:

  1. Login on the webinterface of your Dovado router
  2. Go to "System" ► "Remote Management"
  3. Activate "Enable WAN management"
  4. Add under "Allowed clients" ► "Host/IP" following IP-adress: 80.237.132.227
  5. Activate "API" and then "Home" for this IP and press "Add to list"
  6. Press "Save settings" and restart your Dovado router
  7. Go to DovTelCon Web (SSL) and fill in the Hostname/IP and the password of your Dovado router
  8. Some seconds after pressing "Log in" you should see your devices and groups

If your Dovado router don't have a static IP or hostname (like in most 3G-environments) you can use the DDNS function of your Dovado router. More information: Dovado UMR or Dovado 4GR.

Privacy: Of course the webserver does not save your login-data (hostname/IP and password of your Dovado router)! If you choose to use the "Save login-data"-function the hostname/IP and password of your Dovado router will be stored unencrypted in a cookie by your webbrowser. This cookie is valid for 14 days and will be renewed on every access to DovTelCon Web. You can delete the cookie by pressing the "Log out"-button. If you use the SSL-version of DovTelCon Web the connection between your webbrowser and my hosting provider is secured but the connection between my hosting provider and your Dovado router is unencrypted.
